The Ayu Fish
Goh-san. Let me start off by sending you my warmest birthday greetings. I'm hoping you're having a blast.
Mr. Goh Hotoda, whom I truly admire, gave my parents and I 21 Ayu fish which we really enjoyed.
As I wrote before he is Japan's pride for being a famous music producer and a mixing engineer. Some of his collaborations were with Grammy-Awarded David Sanborn on "Inside" and Chaka Khan on "The Woman I Am". He also worked with Madonna, Prince, Duran Duran, Janet Jackson, Marcus Miller, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Hikaru Utada, and many other international artists.
The day after the mountain bonfire in Kyoto "Gozan no Okuribi", I also ate Ayu fish at the ryokan called Heihachi Jaya Japanese Restaurant & Inn(平八茶屋). I was with a friend from Switzerland who works for an international organization and another friend from Okayama who is a Shinto priest. The family of the ryokan's owner also enjoyed the fish.
It was such a memorable moment.

I was in the Netherlands and I wasn't able to see the performance of Goh's wife, NOKKO, who is the lead vocalist of the band "Rebecca." They performed the songs titled "Friends" and "Lonely Butterfly" on Music Station, a well-known live TV station in Japan.
The uniqueness of her voice is really moving that it made me teary-eyed. Her angelic voice is quite rare and it made me go down memory lane.

it's pertaining to Yumi Matsutoya's album which is dubbed as the best album in commemoration of the 50th anniversary. The said album was mixed and mastered by Goh-san. It has been No. 1 on the Oricon ranking for 2 weeks in a row. Congratulations!
