In memory of Jō Niijima

Today is the anniversary of the founder of our alma mater Jō Niijima（新島 襄）. His tombstone was Kaishu Katsu（勝 海舟）'s writing. Yoshikuni Katsu（勝 芳邦）, who was a director of my foundation NPO corporation; and the one who made the articles of incorporation, is Kaishu Katsu's fifth direct descendant. Unfortunately, he died on 9th January, three years ago due to chronic asthma. These pictures are the grave of Jō Niijima; that Yoshikuni took when he was still alive.
