戦争は知らない SENSO WA SHIRANAI

　The player in orange is me just after the graduation in 1992. At that time I knew not only a war, but even the melody I was supposed to play. I had to play over a sheet of paper with the lyrics and codes only.

　The lyrics tells about a girl's restrained view to her happiness just before marriage in spite of her loss of father, as just hinted, at war before her birth.

The title ' SENSO WA SHIRANAI' means she just doesn't know the previous war directly, (but experiences plenty of what it left behind).

　Let us keep living in the age 'SENSO WO SHIRANAI'(do not know about war) instead of 'SENSO WA SHIRANAI' (as above.)

　オレンジ色の衣装は1992年頃の私。生本番のリクエスト番組で、戦争どころかこの曲を全く知らずに本番突入。歌詞の上にコードがふってあるだけの紙をみて弾いています。

　歌詞は、暗示されているだけですが、生まれる前に戦争でお父さんを亡くしたと思われる女性が、結婚直前の幸せを抑えぎみに語るといったものです。「戦争は知らない」という題名が、（戦争の爪痕はいやというほど体験しているが）直接は戦争を知らないという意味になっています。

　このような「戦争は知らない」でなく、文字通り「戦争を知らない」時代を生きていきたいものだと思います。
